Activity #1 – Analyzing Your Organizational Culture
1) Using the tips from the article Understanding Your Company’s Culture , complete an initial analysis of your organization’s culture. Describe what you learned about your organization’s culture, using detail and examples, and based on the questions in the article.
2) Research has shown that cultural alignment improves morale and productivity. Based on what you learned about your own organization, how well aligned is it with your own values and beliefs? How does this impact your behavior and/or performance at work?
3) Did you intentionally choose a company that aligned with your own values and beliefs? -OR- If the organization does not align with your values and beliefs, what would eventually prompt you to find new employment?
